Figure Lengend Snippet: Fig. 6. Resveratrol increases ATM, ATR and Chk1/2 protein expression, and activates ATM/ATR-dependent phosphorylation of Chk1/2. Cells were cultured as described in Materials and methods, and treated with DMSO alone (control) or resveratrol (50 mM) and/or caffeine (10 mM) (an inhibitor of ATM/ATR) for 48 h. Caffeine was added 15 min before resveratrol. At the end of these treatments, total cell lysates were prepared and subjected to SDS–PAGE followed by western immunoblotting.
